The Mukogodo Fund, Inc., a nonprofit organization incorporated in the state of New Jersey, works to improve the lives of the people of the Mukogodo area of Kenya.
The Mukogodo area is located in north central Kenya. The people of the Mukogodo area are primarily Maa-speaking pastoralists.
All royalties from Lee Cronk's new book From Mukogodo to Maasai: Ethnicity and Cultural Change in Kenya (Westview Press, 2004) will be donated to the Fund. Donations from individuals and other sources are also accepted and will be used to support schools, health care, and economic development projects in the Mukogodo area.
